Good News Morning

The first thing I checked this morning was on two online friends- Shelley and Lorraine. Shelley is stranded in Bulgaria by the cloud of volcanic ash, click on her name to read her story. They finally seem to have an ending in sight, great news! Please pray for them and if you are led to helping them financially, there is a link on Shelley's blog. Lorraine's daughter, Chrissie, was scheduled for heart surgery yesterday and things did not go well. Chrissie had problems during surgery and was dead for 20 minutes. She is currently alive and in a medically induced coma- that was the good news, as I was so worried that Chrissie did not make it through the night. PLEASE, PLEASE keep Chrissie and family in your prayers as well, it is still very much touch and go. Lorraine has a post on specifically what their prayer needs are on her blog. It would be so awesome if we could all come together in Christ for this special little girl. :)
And lastly, I have some good news myself! I received some emails from our wonderful attorney in Bulgaria- our little girl is officially ON HOLD for our family! Yay!!! More good news- she is NOT in a mental institution, even though they can be transferred as early as 3 in Bulgaria. Toni doesn't know anything about the orphanage where Miss A is (I will not be posting her name or picture on the blog until trip one, sorry for the disappointment!), but she did say that it is in a small town. In her experience, orphanages in small towns generally have good care, so we are both optimistic! I think it is a good sign that Miss A hasn't been transferred, too. This has been an exciting morning for me and I am hoping and praying that it will continue to be an exciting day with GOOD news on Chrissie and Shelley! Thank you Lord!!!

Glad you got some good news today. :-) I can't wait to hear more about Miss A when things get a little further along. :-)
